Emilia Clarke admitted that she needed vodka to strip off for that nude Game of Thrones scene
Her character Daenerys walked out of a burning temple in Vaes Dothrak completely naked, which shocked fans.
Speaking about preparing for the scene, she admitted that alcohol, which was left in her dressing room, helped her find the confidence to bare all.
She told The Sun: "All I needed was vodka and some flattering lighting and I was ready.
"It was just a wonderful, strong moment I wanted to own, a real empowering, girl-power wow scene.

Emilia Clarke feels empowered by her nude scenes
Emilia was nude for the scene and insisted she did not use a body double
"I was so thrilled with it. It's not a sexy scene, she's not naked for no reason, it's not gratuitous."
The 29-year-old continued: "She's naked because she's just destroyed her enemies in this almighty blaze after they underestimated her.
"She played her trump card - how could I say no?"
Emilia has previously been criticised for refusing to strip off for the HBO series, but the brunette beauty has defended herself.

The actress said she would strip off if it helped with the story telling of the series
She explained: "I don't want to have sex thrown in my face and I've always thought the suggestion is so much more titillating than the act itself.
"If a nude scene forwards a story or is shot in a way that adds insight into characters, I'm perfectly fine with it.
"Sometimes explicit scenes are required and make sense for the characters or story, as they do in Westeros."
Game of Thrones continues on Monday on Sky Atlantic at 9pm.
