KAREN HARDING has apologised after missing her cue for the national anthem ahead of the FA Cup final between Crystal Palace and Manchester United today.

The singer, who was booted off The X Factor back in 2013, blamed technical problems after she was left red-faced in front of millions.
The 24-year-old's name started trending within minutes of her gaffe, which saw her fail to begin singing before fiddling about with her earpiece.
Stood in the centre of Wembley Stadium, Karen remained silent as the two teams, Prince William and thousands of supporters began God Save The Queen.
"OMG. Biggest audience of my life and I get technical difficulties! Argh so sorry guys," the hitmaker wrote on Twitter soon after her performance.

"Mortified!! I don’t know what happened," Karen also told her 8,000 followers, as many took to the micro-blogging site to comment on what happened.
DJ Trevor Nelson seemingly felt sorry for the young star, writing: "Feeling for Karen Harding missing her cue for the anthem #FACupFinal."
Another person tweeted: "Feel sorry for Karen Harding. It must be a big deal to be selected to sing the anthem. A shame she was unable to hear her cue #FACupFinal."
