'Give me a chance' The Chase star Jenny 'The Vixen' Ryan opens up about abuse from viewers
SHE has been crushing the hopes of many contestants on ITV's The Chase for over a year now but Jenny 'The Vixen' Ryan has revealed that the abuse from viewers at home is hurtful.
The Chase's Jenny Ryan said the abuse from viewers can be quite hurtful
The quiz show star explained: "It is quite hurtful when people make a judgement without even really watching me and saying things like: 'I'm not watching if she's on' or 'I don't like change'.
"There's certain people who have contacted me on Twitter, not realising I am a human being who reads things sent to me directly.
"They've said: 'I can't stand her. I never watch more than a minute of her before switching off'. It's a bit like 'give me a chance!'"
The game show star recently came under fire from viewers when she claimed her finger "slipped" onto the wrong answer.

She told the Metro: "I actually feel really lucky. It's such a big show and we finally have that National Television Award!
"A huge number of real Chase fans have taken me to their hearts and people are recognising me out and about and are saying how pleased they are with me making a refreshing change to the lineup – not that they don’t like the other guys but people like that we’re all different."

A huge number of real Chase fans have taken me to their hearts
She is set to take part in a number of upcoming celebrity special episodes, which will air later this year and admitted they are "a bit daunting".
Comparing the celebrity edition to the regular show, she commented: "It's a different atmosphere with the crowd and it's more like a gladiatorial contest!
"It'll be interesting to see how I react… I won't know until I'm thrown into that lion's den."
The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV1.
