AN EMOTIONAL meeting between Coronation Street's Sarah-Louise Platt and Todd Grimshaw sees her go into premature labour, in scenes set to air later this month.

The young mother, played by Tina O'Brien, has been shopping for her unborn child when she bumps into her ex (Bruno Langley) and things start to spiral.
Moved by the reminder of their past, the pregnant character starts to get upset and Todd steers her into the flower shop.
As he talks fondly of their late son Billy, Sarah suddenly has a contraction and panics that she’s still five weeks off her due date.
Leaving her with a very reluctant Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford), Todd charges off to fetch help.

As Sarah’s contractions intensify, she’s relieved when the ambulance arrives alongside Todd and her brother David (Jack P. Shepherd).
Viewers will have to wait until Monday, March 21, to see if another Platt is welcomed into the world.
Meanwhile, a source told The Sun newspaper: "Sarah has lost one baby and is terrified lightning could strike twice.

Drug dealer Callum Logan - the father of Sarah's little one - was dramatically killed last year by his ex Kylie.
The insider added: "It's an innocent baby who needs its mum but just looking at him brings up so many bad memories for her. All she wants to do is forget Callum."
