Holly Willoughby left stunned as Phillip Schofield starts sniffing glue on This Morning
PHILLIP SCHOFIELD stunned both Holly Willoughby and the This Morning viewers today when he unashamedly sniffed glue live on air.

The clean cut television presenter was reprimanded by his co-star Holly, who was gobsmacked when the silver-haired host shoved his nose into a bowl of PVA glue, during a segment showing how to make free Mother’s Day gifts ahead of next weekend.
The pair tried their best to make homemade pin cushions using tea cups when Phillip began taking a big whiff of a bowl of white, sticky PVA. Blissfully unaware of what he was doing, he looked up and reminisced: "Ooh I remember the smell!"
A shocked Holly pointed out: "You can't do that!", before Phil swiftly defended himself: "No, no I'm not! It's just infant school stuff! I''m not glue sniffing, it's just ooh that's a memorable smell."
During the same segment in today’s edition of the topical chat show, Phillip also dropped the bombshell that he was being “pressured” to join Blue Peter. However, he proved exactly why he was probably the worst man for the job when his Mother’s Day gift went horribly wrong.

“I turned down a job on Blue Peter, “ said the 53-year-old while masterfully destroying a pin cup for his mother. “There was loads of pressure on me to join Blue Peter.”
Holly replied: “You’re too naughty to be on Blue Peter.”
Regardless of his naughtiness, Phillip proved useless at an afternoon of arts and crafts - perhaps the only credential totally necessary to join the Blue Peter team.

His collection of Mother's Day gifts were disastrous, when he and Holly made stuffed mugs and their own cards.
“What’s that little thing?” shrieked Holly as she mortified over Phillip’s gift.
Later, holding his questionable tea cup and card, Phillip turned to the camera and warned: “I don’t like to tell my other what I’ve got her for Mother’s Day day but you’ve got this,” he said while lifting up the card. “And that,” he added as Holly waved his cup.

Thankfully, Phillip’s mother was watching on from home and was clearly delighted by the prospect of receiving her son's homemade gifts.
After the ad break, Phillip returned with a proud grin on his face and boasted: “I just got a Whatsapp from my mother, who said: ‘I can’t wait for Mothers day - you are so talented.'”
