JOE WRIGHT is set to direct an episode of the highly anticipated new season of Charlie Brooker's series Black Mirror.

The acclaimed show is an anthology series which features speculative fiction with dark and satirical themes and examines modern society.
Speaking about each series' structure, Charlie noted in The Guardian: "Each episode has a different cast, a different setting, even a different reality.
"But they're all about the way we live now – and the way we might be living in 10 minutes' time if we're clumsy."
Black Mirror premiered on Channel 4 in 2011 and ran for two seasons during which time it received an international Emmy Award, a Peabody Award, a Rose D'Or and was nominated for a BAFTA.

Joe has previously directed Atonement and Pride and Prejudice
Joe's decision to direct an episode is arguably an interesting choice creatively.
He emerged as one of the UK's most exciting directors due to his work on Pride And Prejudice and Atonement.
He will work alongside Charlie who will continue to produce the series and Annabel Jones.

Bryce Dallas Howard and Alice Eve are set to star in the Joe Wright directed episode
Last year Netlfix announced that it would be ordering 12 episodes of the series from Charlie's company House of Tomorrow.
The episode, which will be aired on the popular streaming service will reportedly star Bryce Dallas Howard and Alice Eve.
Bryce recently starred in Jurassic World, Twilight and The Help, while Alice has had roles in Star Trek Into Darkness and Before We Go.
