EastEasters Spoiler: The Mitchell clan set for shock family reunion next year
EASTENDERS' Mitchell family are set for a shock reunion in the New Year, when Phil's long-lost daughter Louise makes a dramatic return to Albert Square.
Mitchell's set for shock reunion
Actress Tilly Keeper will take on the role of Phil's daughter, who will return to Walford after mysteriously disappearing five years ago.
It is not yet known why Louise is back, but the feisty teen is said to be determined to become a "true Mitchell".
Speaking about her new role, Tilly said: "I am so thrilled to be joining the cast of EastEnders, especially to be joining the Mitchell clan! It’s a dream come true and I can’t wait to get stuck into the role and see what lies in store for Louise."
Louise certainly had a dramatic start in life and was embroiled in her fair share of dramatic storylines, which saw her almost blown up in a car after East End gangster Steve Owen kidnapped her.
The Mitchell's could be reunited once again
Louise Mitchell will arrive in Walford next year
Louise was last seen in 2010 when her grandmother Peggy reunited her with her mum Lisa Fowler, after she feared Phil was not fit enough to be a father.
Not long after, Phil went in search of his daughter but Lisa and Louise had vanished without a trace.
The news of Louise's return comes just a few months after Ross Kemp - who played Grant Mitchell on-and-off since 1996 - hinted that he might reprise his role as the local hardman.
Speaking at a personal appearance in October, Ross said: "Everyone wants to know about EastEnders, and at the moment I don't know, so I can’t really say anything. There has been rumours and I have never said that I wouldn’t go back."
EastEnders continues on Monday on BBC One.
