Kevin Spacey and co return for the fourth season of House of Cards in 2016
The fourth season of the hugely popular show will return March 4 on Netflix, with even more dirty dealings and manipulative moves than ever before.
In the run up to the release, Netflix have released a presidential campaign video, featuring a virtuous looking Frank and a montage of colourful imagery.

Netflix are running a presidential campaign video in the run up to the show's release
Kevin Spacey has been playing dastardly politician Frank for almost three years
“Today more people will go to work, return home to their families and sleep more soundly than ever before – all because one man refuses to settle, putting people before politics. That man is Frank Underwood.”
As the video comes to a close the camera pans in on Franks as he states: “America, I am only getting started. I am Frank Underwood and I approve this message.”
The viral campaign is part of a clever publicity stunt meant to drum up viewers in time for the new season’s debut.
Frank and Claire Underwood are TV's most sinister power couple
Spacey regularly breaks the fourth wall in the show, speaking directly to viewers
Netflix have tweeted posters which say “FU Bedtime” and pictures of “Underwood 2016” pins on Instagram to keep the momentum going.
This is part of a bigger PR strategy, which also involves a dedicated website fu2016.com.
Other shows that have adopted similar tactics include True Blood, which released an advertisement for the show’s synthetic blood beverage.
Kevin Spacey’s devious character has wormed his way into the Oval Office and is intent on staying there, but marital troubles and some intense criticism could kick him off the political throne.
The Netflix Original programme, which first aired in 2013, stars Spacey as Underwood and Robin Wright as his wife Claire - who is a perfect match for her sinister partner in crime.
House of Cards returns to Netflix on March 4, 2016.
