The panellist said The X Factor judge "obviously has problems" and is hoping someone helps her soon.
Speaking on the ITV show, the 50-year-old, who has battled with her own weight in the media spotlight, said people criticising the 32-year-old singer was wrong.
"We have to talk about Cheryl, because everybody is. What I find really upsetting is, whatever Cheryl's going through and she has put it down to stress, she's obviously got problems," Coleen told Ruth Langsford, Saira Khan and Jane Moore.
The Blackpool-born star continued: "I mean, you can see it. She has lost so much weight and for me I look at her and it's a worrying thing. I think, 'oh God, someone help her'."

Cheryl has previously spoken out to say body-shaming should be made illegal, after her thin figure made headlines earlier this year.
Coleen added: "But the amount of people criticising her or making jokes, that's not going to help her.
"I just think skinny shaming is just as bad as fat shaming."

Coleen's comments come after magician Ben Hanlin sparked outrage when he joked about Cheryl's diet on spin-off series, The Xtra Factor, this weekend.
On doing a trick for hosts Melvin Odoom and Rochelle Humes, the 29-year-old appeared to 'regurgitate' a card.
"That's the Cheryl Cole diet," Ben quipped, before the studio fell silent.
Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV.
