The BBC Breakfast weather presenter opted for a white blouse covered with a red lip print and a leather pencil skirt, which is a far cry from the formal shift dresses she's usually spotted in.
She accessorised her look with an elegant pair of pearl stud earrings.
Carol wore her hair swept back to highlight her make up. She appears to be wearing a light dusting of bronzer and red lipstick, which matches her look.
BBC viewers couldn't compliment Carol's new look enough, with one fan tweeting: "@carolkirkwood looking stunning on bbc breakfast this morning @BBCNews , love your outfit!!"
