James May isn't scared of Top Gear competition: 'It's good to have a credible rival'
WHILE headlines have been pipping Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond's Amazon Prime venture against their Top Gear rival, May has assured the trio are welcoming the competition.

The gang were famously dropped from the internationally renown motoring show after Clarkson was sacked over a "fracas" with producer Oisin Tymon.
BBC Radio 2 host, and car enthusiast Chris Evans has now been lined up to replace the string of hosts when a revamped Top Gera returns to the BBC next year.
And despite several digs and jobs here and there, having two high-budget car programmes is only a good thing assured May, as he promoted the Clarkson Hammond and May Live Tour on today's This Morning.
Speaking to hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Lansford, the 52-year-old explained that while the shows won't be that "different" he insisted: "I think it's going to be very healthy having two internationally big car programmes. I thin it's good we have a credible rival."

Speculation has been rife since Clakrson and co. announced their new deal with Amazon Prime - worth an estimated £160 million - and its elusive name.
While May confirmed the series, which will be streamed online, will arrive in the Autumn 2016, is still untitled.
He said: "We don't know what it's called. We've done a lot of brainstorming for things but it's hard to think of a name that isn't already done.

"We don't have a name, that's not being secretive we genuinely don't."
Production on the group's Amazon show kicked off in October when Clarkson teased a first glimpse of the highly-anticipated show on Twitter.
There will be 36 episodes, spread across three series, which will be made available to UK subscribers of if Amazon Prime.
