Strictly Come Dancing 2015: Anita Rani suffers wrist injury ahead of Blackpool show
COUNTRYFILE presenter Anita Rani has revealed that she has sustained an injury ahead of this week's episode of Strictly Come Dancing in Blackpool.
Anita Rani shows her wrist injury from training
Appearing on tonight's edition of Strictly's sister show It Takes Two, the 38-year-old TV personality revealed her right hand was strapped up in a wrist support.
She explained that the mishap had happened during training when she was going through dance partner Gleb Savchenko's legs.
"My thumb was down here," the Bradford-born star told host Zoe Ball, as she pointed to her forearm.
Anita confirmed that she had not broken any bones but had to go to hospital and get an X-ray done to make sure.

This feels like nothing compared to week three and what my ribs were doing
"There is no margin for error or for anything to go wrong, so I need to get this x-rayed to make sure it's still useable," she said in a VT showing her being examined by a nurse.
When asked whether she was going to be able to use it at the weekend, Anita replied: "Yeah, it's going to have to be."
"The thing is, I think every single one of us has had some sort of injury or something go wrong," she explained.

"This feels like nothing compared to week three and what my ribs were doing or the fact that my hamstring went weak. It doesn't matter," she added.
The broadcaster, who entered the competition with no formal dance training, was praised by Gleb, 31, on the show. He told her she was improving and getting better each week.
Anita and Gleb will be performing the Paso Doble to the dramatic Malaguena by Connie Francis this week.
Strictly Come Dancing continues on BBC One on Saturday at 6.50pm
