I'm A Celebrity 2015: Everything you need to know about Kieron Dyer
HE’S known for his prowess on the pitch, but just who is I’m A Celebrity contestant Kieron Dyer?
Kieron Dyer is perhaps best known for playing football for Newcastle United
The 36-year-old footballer is among the celebrities to take on the jungle this year, but not a lot is known about him.
Kieron is perhaps best known for his time with Newcastle United, where he clocked up 200 appearances between 1999 and 2007.
The footballer gained notoriety in 2005, when he was involved in an on-pitch brawl with his Magpies teammate Lee Bowyer.
Kieron began his career as a midfielder in his hometown, playing for Ipswich town who he signed for aged 17.

The star was sold to Newcastle for £6million, which is the all-time highest fee payed for an Ipswich player.
A move for the same fee to West Ham United followed, but Kieron suffered from various injuries, restricting him to 30 league appearances in four seasons.
After a short loan back to Ipswich in March 2011, he signed for newly promoted club Queens Park Rangers ahead of their 2011–12 Premier League season.
However, his time at QPR was again blighted by injuries and he made just eight appearances for the club before being released in January 2013, spending the rest of the season at Middlesbrough before retiring.
