Strictly Come Dancing 2015: Iwan Thomas and Ola Jordan become first pair to be eliminated
OLYMPIC sprinter Iwan Thomas has become the first celebrity to be sent home from this year's Strictly Come Dancing.

The 41-year-old athlete and his partner were left at the bottom of the leaderboard last night after a disastrous performance.
They received the least number of votes, along with pop star Jamelia with her partner Tristan MacManus, and had to battle it out on the dance floor.
Jamelia, 34, and her partner performed their Cha Cha to the Pussycat Dolls' song Don't Cha. While Iwan danced their Cha Cha again to Sexy and I Know It by LMFAO. Sadly, Iwan's footwork failed to impress and he was sent packing by the judges.
"I’ve loved training with you, it has been amazing. Believe or not, I was getting slightly better each day!" Iwan told his partner Ola.

She replied, telling him: "I have absolutely loved dancing with you, you are a wonderful person and I am sorry it finished so early."
Last night saw Iwan's performance got panned by the judges, with Bruno Tonioli describing the Olympian's efforts as "neanderthal" and "killing" the dance routine.
Fellow judge Len Goodman was not pleased with Iwan's breakdancing either and said that Iwan lost the "finesse" of the dance.

While Craig Revel Horwood added: "Twenty-one-and-a-half-hours wasted. It really didn't work at all."
Iwan and Ola are set to be appearing on Strictly's sister show It Takes Two with Zoe Ball to talk about their performance.
Next week the couples will be pulling out some Hollywood glamour in Movie Week.
Strictly Come Dancing continues on BBC One on Saturday.
