Emmerdale disaster week: Chrissie Sugden starts fire in revenge attack for Robert's affair
THEY say that revenge is a dish best served cold but Chrissie Sugden (Louise Marwood) is going to be turning up the heat when she learns about her husband Robert's (Ryan Hawley) affair.
There are going to be explosive scenes on Emmerdale next week
Chrissie is going to be thrown into a furious rampage after discovering her other half's infidelity with Aaron Livesey (Danny Miller) and will set fire to Robert's car in revenge, actress Louise has revealed.
"Chrissie is furious and decides to set fire to Robert's beloved car, so that she can really hit him where it hurts. She believes at this point that Robert never loved her, only the lifestyle she afforded him. This is truly a woman scorned!"
She continued: "The fact that Robert had an affair with a man is not something she can deal with.
"She is shocked, hurt, humiliated and above all, confused. Chrissie never suspected Robert because she thought he loved her and that their love was absolute."

But her thoughtless actions will have dangerous consequences as Chrissie spots a set of gas canisters and Adam Barton (Adam Thomas) asleep in a car nearby.
While soap makers are not giving too much away about what is going to happen, viewers have been warned that there will be deaths occurring during disaster week.
The fire will be at the heart of Emmerdale's big week and it won't be just Robert's car that is going to be affected, the blaze is set to impact on Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb) and Pete Barton's (Anthony Quinlan) wedding day.
It's a summer of infidelity on Emmerdale
Actress Louise says Chrissie will be "full of terror" as it dawns on her what she has done and just how many lives her careless actions are going to affect.
"Chrissie starts to realise the magnitude of what she's done and the stupidity of it. This is very out of character for her, as she is very controlled most of the time. But at this point in the story she is not!"
The soap star went on to say that she was "really proud" of having such a major part to play in the significant storyline. She said that disaster week will show a side to the character only "hinted at before".
"I love playing Chrissie and it's exciting not knowing what is going to happen to her, Aaron and Robert. We literally have no idea from one week to the next."
"I'm also really looking forward to seeing the whole episodes once they are edited together. I'm a bit apprehensive too as I hope we did it justice."
The last time Emmerdale fans saw such a dramatic spectacle was back in 2013 when the village suffered from a flood and siege in The Woolpack.
