'So disappointed' X Factor fans react as Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora join the judging panel
EARLIER today it was confirmed Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora would be joining The X Factor this year as judges and the news was met with a mixed reaction on Twitter.

The news was announced by 55-year-old music mogul Simon today, who said: "It's taken a while! But I am very happy to be able to confirm our line-up of judges for The X Factor this year.
"The combination of Nick, Cheryl and Rita is going to be a lot of fun! They all bring a lot of enthusiasm and passion for music to the show."
However, despite Simon's enthusiasm the news left many fans unimpressed.
The news was confirmed earlier today on Twitter
Simon Cowell will also return as a judge in the upcoming series
One Twitter user wrote: "So disappointed that the xfactor have got rid of Louis Walsh and Mel B. I loved them, they are way better than these new airheads. #xfactor."
Another said: "Still, I'll look forward to the inevitable announcement next year that Rita and Nick have been dropped and Louis is back.. #XFactor."
"@CherylOfficial @RitaOra and @grimmers on the #XFactor? Surely Simon is punking the entire UK with this train wreck of a panel?" posted another.
Rita and Nick were also subject to more personal criticism.
One disappointed viewer wrote: "Rita Ora on Xfactor?! Cannot stand her...bring back @NicoleScherzy #XFactor #RitaOra."

Nick Grimshaw currently presents the BBC Radio 1 breakfast show
While another said: "Im not watching #XFactor is nick grimshaw is on it...can't stand him...ruined radio1 breakfast for me #annoyingvoice #annoyingface."
Despite many fan's disappointment, some Twitter users were excited about the new line up.
"So simon Lured Rita Ora and Grimmers to the #XFactor imma excited to see on its return," wrote one.
Another added: "I am so glad Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora are gonna join the #XFactor! I think they will make the show really awesome!"
"Most people getting gassy over Nick Grimshaw joining #xfactor 'Not watching this year'….bet you will though. I actually like him," said another.
The X Factor will be returning later this year.
