Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, the standout star of Netflix's legal drama The Lincoln Lawyer, is stepping away from the courtroom to embark on an exciting new journey in a blockbuster movie series.
With a solid fanbase from Michael Connelly's original novels and an outstanding 90% thumbs-up on Rotten Tomatoes, The Lincoln Lawyer has fast become a much-watch on Netflix.
Fronted by Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as the charismatic attorney Mickey Haller, the series launched in 2022 and is set to return for a suspenseful season four, especially after leaving audiences reeling with its season three cliffhanger.
Although there's been no official announcement about the release date for the next installment, whispers suggest the show might renew later this year or possibly in early 2026.
Meanwhile, Garcia-Rulfo is switching his suit for something more adventurous, having bagged a role in a major cinematic universe.
Next up for Garcia-Rulfo is an adventure in the world of dinosaurs with the forthcoming Jurassic World: Rebirth, set to premiere on Wednesday, 2nd July.
This marks the seventh entry in the behemoth Jurassic Park series and the fourth instalment in the Jurassic World saga, acting as a direct follow-on from Jurassic World: Dominion.
Garcia-Rulfo is cast as Reuben Delgado, described as "the father of a shipwrecked civilian family" with no doubt, they'll find themselves in some hair-raising encounters with the franchise's infamous prehistoric creatures.
The star will be joining forces with Scarlett Johansson of The Avengers, Jonathan Bailey from Bridgerton and Wicked, and Mahershala Ali, the acclaimed actor from Moonlight.
In the shocking finale of The Lincoln Lawyer's third season, police found the corpse of former client Sam Scales (played by Christopher Thornton) in Mickey's boot.
Mickey was left utterly bewildered as to how the body ended up in his car, leading to his subsequent arrest.
But who is attempting to set up the lawyer, and how is he going to clear his name from behind bars?
The fourth season will draw from author Connelly's sixth book in The Lincoln Lawyer series, titled The Law of Innocence.
