A Place In The Sun presenter Jasmine Harman has landed a huge new Channel 4 show as she and her family document their renovation project on their new home in Spain.
The 15-part series, called Jasmine's Renovation In The Sun will see the star, alongiside her husband Jon and their two young children, spend a year attempting to turn a dilapidated villa into their perfect family home. Beaming broadly the TV property expert took to Instagram to share her delight.
In a video which she appeared to shoot the site of the villa she told her 216,000 about the project. "I've been having to keep this under wraps for a while," she said.
"Many of you know that my husband and I have just recently bought a house in Spain. Now the place is a bit of a wreck. It's a complete renovation project, but we just fell in love with it and saw its potential.
"And now you are going to get to come with us on this journey, because we are going to be filming a series for Channel 4 called Jasmine's Renovation In The Sun, and so you will also get to see all the highs and lows, all the ins and outs of doing this renovation project over here in Spain. I'm really, really excited about it, and can't wait to be able to share it with you," she concluded.

She also included a lengthy caption with the clip which further explained the concept.
"Exciting news! I’ve been having to keep this under wraps but now I can finally it share with you! Jasmine’s Renovation In The Sun is coming to Channel 4. It does have a nice ring to it doesn’t it?!" she wrote.
"Moving house can be stressful at the best of times. But, changing country, renovating a home, whilst raising our family – let’s just say there’s never a dull moment!
"We feel like this move and this project, transforming a dilapidated house into a dream home, is an amazing opportunity for our family and we’re so excited to get started and share this incredible journey with you all.
"It won’t be stressful at all will it? Thank you to you all for all your well wishes and words of encouragement on our journey so far."

In an official statement she admitted her move was different to her expectations. “Moving abroad has been completely different to what I expected and dreamed of. I never wanted to take on a renovation project but somehow, we fell in love with this house. I’ve seen it so many times with my own house hunters - sometimes it just feels right.”
Her A Place In The Sun collegues jumped onto the comments to express their delight for her."That’s exciting, looking forward to watching," Ben Hillman penned. Meanwhile Lee Juggurnauth simply said: "Congrats x."
Jean Johansson promised to watch writing: "Fabulous! I’ll be tuning in xx."
Lucy Alexander kept it short and sweet chiming in: "Yay congratulations," followed by an applause emoji.
