ITV Tipping Point fans issue same complaint as they blast player's 'cringe' decision
Tipping Point presenter Ben Shephard welcomed three new contestants onto the ITV quiz show, but fans all had the same complaint.
Tipping Point fans rushed to complain as they tuned into the latest instalment of the ITV quiz show. Ben Shephard returned to host Tuesday's edition of the programme, welcoming Joe, Sheril and Richard.
The trio went head-to-head in the hopes of becoming the person lucky enough to play for the jackpot counter, worth a huge £10,000. Early on in the game, Joe was congratulated by his co-stars after he managed to get nine counters across the tipping point.
Shortly after, Sheril repeatedly said "well done" after Richard buzzed in with the correct answer before Ben had finished answering the question.
While the three contestants appeared to support each other throughout the game, viewers questioned this as they took to social media to complain.

"Why do contestants wooo and wheeey while watching other contestants win untold counters on #TippingPoint," asked one fan. Another replied: "Because they're pretending to look gracious. They rarely sound genuine."
A third declared: "I agree. I find it cringing." Also claiming it as disingenuous, another said: "They're cursing inside really."
After using up all of his counters, Joe revealed he didn't want to take anymore risks and bowed out of the game early. Deciding not to use another three counters for the jackpot, Joe said: "I think I've run out of luck."

Explaining the reason behind his decision, Joe told Ben that he couldn't play for the £10k as it could potentially lose him everything if things didn't go his way.
Joe revealed that he was hoping to put the money towards his wedding ceremony after his original plans to tie the knot with his partner were postponed during the Covid-19 pandemic.
He also wanted to use the money to take his partner and newborn son on holiday, ultimately deciding to keep the £3,550 that he earned up until that point.
It turned out to be the right decision as the three extra counters wouldn't have been enough to push the jackpot counter over the tipping point.
