During a highly amusing segment on Monday night's The One Show, singer Jane McDonald couldn't contain her laughter after a chat with hosts Alex Jones and Roman Kemp took a funny turn.
Reflecting on the importance of being assertive in her enduring career, Jane explained that her father was crucial in shaping this aspect of her character.
The veteran performer, aged 61, stated: "I've always had that mentality, put out there, know your boundaries and know your own worth. So, I'm a great believer in that."
However, the conversation took a witty twist when presenter Alex Jones, eager to shift gears, playfully remarked: "It's a bit early, to mention the C-word.."
Jane looked momentarily befuddled, prompting Alex to clarify she meant 'Christmas', sparking relief from Jane who assumed a different 'C-word' was at play, reports Wales Online.

Unable to stifle her mirth, Jane dramatically grasped the knee of the guest beside her as The Script's Danny O'Donoghue chimed in humorously: "You were asking me not to curse before! ".
Alex tried to nudge the dialogue along by bringing up Jane's upcoming panto role, to which she excitedly confirmed: "It is! I'm Maid Marion to Julian Clary's Robin Hood. It's writing itself this, isn't it? ".
She divulged more about her busy schedule, saying, "It's straight after I've done my national tour, which I start in two weeks. Then I have two days off and I go straight into panto."
