Emmerdale Nate 'not in Scotland' as his real whereabouts 'revealed' - but it’s bad news

Emmerdale viewers are convinced that they know what has happened to Nate Robinson after he went missing this week.

Emmerdale: Tracy finds out that Nate has left the village

Emmerdale enthusiasts have speculated about the whereabouts of Nate Robinson following his sudden departure, and it doesn't bode well for the popular character.

Nate (played by Jurell Carter) was last seen on the soap on Monday evening (September 9) after a clash with his father Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley).

He was wrongly accused of kissing his stepmother Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) due to a misunderstanding related to her health issues, which turned out to be a brain tumour.

Cain was livid upon discovering their supposed 'kiss,' as long-standing viewers will recall that Moira and Nate had an affair when he first arrived in the village, jeopardising her marriage to Cain. In shocking scenes, Cain attacked Nate, disowning him despite his heartfelt denial of any misconduct.

Adding to this, Nate had previously secured a job in Scotland, aligning with actor Jurell Carter's exit from the ITV soap. He had informed his wife Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh), who intended to relocate with him along with their child Frankie.

However, after learning about his alleged 'kiss' with Moira, she too began to doubt him, prompting her to ask him to leave for good. Yet, throughout the week, Nate was conspicuously absent, with several characters trying to find him and make contact, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Furthermore, a surprise barn fire broke out in the Dales this week, involving several residents. Fortunately, characters like Ruby Milligan (Beth Cordingly) and Moira managed to escape unscathed.

Following Nate's sudden absence from the scene, Emmerdale aficionados are buzzing with speculation that he didn't actually depart for Shetlands to start a new job. In a jaw-dropping turn of events, some viewers believe he might have been a victim of the devastating fire and potentially perished.

On an Emmerdale fan page on Facebook, one individual speculated: "Nate just disappeared and I think coz he's not answering the phone then they may find him in the barn. Just because he's gone to Scotland wouldn't mean he can't answer the phone, I just think the radio silence is not looking great for Nate."

Another fan concurred, adding their own twist by suggesting: "Nate's body will be found in the barn but it will become a murder investigation because autopsy will show he was killed before the fire. It's the next big story."

Yet another theorised: "Anyone else think that Nate went back and died in the fire?".

A different fan voiced out their suspicion: "Is Nate dead? Got caught in the fire and nobody knows???" While another insisted: "I still have a feeling he's going to be found in the barn by the fire investors."

Someone else crafted a comprehensive narrative: "The storyline has been set up perfectly. They all turned on him, he disappears. They find out he was innocent. His body is found. Everyone is hysterical because they wrongly accused him and now can't put things right."

In a conjecture-laden addition, they declared: "Now we're going to have Tracy weeping and wailing for weeks and Caine punching everything that moves out of guilt."

Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
