The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is on Amazon Prime Video and the first three episodes were released as part of a bumper premiere. Ahead of the show's release, it was announced a few of the original cast would not be returning for the second outing.
One of the names was Nazanin Boniadi, who played Southlander of Tirhara, Bronwyn. Her character was the mother of Theo (Tyroe Muhafidin) who worked at an apothecary, during which time she fell in love with the Silvan Elf Arondir (Ismael Cruz Córdova).
In the second season of The Rings of Power, Arondir discovers Bronwyn had died in his absence and he attended her funeral alongside her son Theo. Arondir had believed she was getting better but Adar's (Sam Hazeldine) influence was too strong.
Back in June this year actress Nazanin took to social media to further explain why she could not return to the show. When the news first broke it was believed she was stepping away from acting to focus on her humanitarian work.
However on Instagram she explained her exit from the series was unrelated to her decision to prioritize her charity work.

"My character Bronwyn was committed to these same ideals in striving for a fairer world, which is why I connected so deeply with her.
"I look forward to sharing my latest projects with you soon.”
