Coronation Street’s Dee-Dee Bailey ‘knows the truth’, about Joel Deering, fans have claimed.
Despite rocking up to the cobbles as a nice guy last year, Sicko solicitor Joel (Callum Lill) has shown his true colours in recent months. Recently, it was revealed he was behind the disappearance of Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton).
Joel wormed his way into Lauren’s life after helping her out with bills, eventually coercing her into a sexual relationship. He then left he for dead after bashing her head in, following a heated argument where Lauren mentioned fiancee Dee-Dee’s name.
However, after going missing for several months, Lauren returned to Weatherfield - revealing to Joel she was pregnant with his child. Since then, Joel has tried to secure her silence by giving her a place to stay at his old flat.
He has also promised to pay for her to go to Ireland to start a new life - with Joel revealing she was flying out on August 12 and he had three weeks to sort everything out.
However, later on, Joel's real plan was revealed as he was seen searching on his laptop, “What drugs can induce premature labour?" And last week, Joel ended up giving Lauren the drugs - causing her to go into labour early.
During Monday’s episode (August 5), Lauren was still in the hospital, with her baby boy in an incubator. She was also visited by Joel and Dee-Dee, after Dee-Dee insisted they check in on her to see how she was doing.

However, fans reckon Dee-Dee actually knows the truth about her sicko fiancee. Over on Corrie Facebook fan page, fans pointed out how she has ‘taken an interest’ in Lauren recently, and reckon this could be down to 'knowing everything.'
One viewer wrote: “Why is Dee Dee so invested in Lauren all of a sudden?” Someone else replied: “She suspects something.”
A third mused: “She might know and will announce it at the alter when they are due to get married. That's what they seem to do in soaps.” Another penned: “She knows there’s something else to it. Wouldn’t surprise me if she knew everything about Joel.”
