Me on Apple TV+ season 2: Will there be another series?

Me puts a fresh spin on the world of superheroes with a coming-of-age story but is there going to be another series?

Me has dropped on Apple TV+ and subscribers are already wondering if there will be more to come.

The live action superhero family series delves into the life of 12-year-old Ben (played by Lucian-River Chauhan) who is caught up with the normal everyday issues of school life, from bullies to crushes.

Little did he expect developing super powers to be thrown into the mix, as he discovers that he can shape shift but with help from his step-sister Max (Abigail Pniowsky), he begins to realise what it really means to have such abilities.

Will there be a Me season 2 on Apple TV+? 

Me has just been released on Apple TV+, with all 10 episodes dropping onto the streamer in one go for subscribers to binge-watch.

As of yet, it hasn’t been confirmed that a second season is on the way for Me but despite this, its creator Barry L Levy is already has Me’s future in mind.

While speaking exclusively to Express and asked if he wanted to continue with Me, Levy said: “Oh yeah. I have all the plans laid out.

“When I walked into Apple from day one it was: ‘I want to build the Apple Cinematic Universe.

“‘And I want to tell you about these heroes from the time that they were adolescents to the times where you’re going to see them grow into who they’re going to become.’

“That was always my vision and dream.”

For now though, fans of the show will have to wait for the official green light to be given before Me season two can be confirmed.

Taking on the leading role of Ben Vasani is young actor Lucian-River Chauhan who starred in the 2021 thriller Encounter as well as Netflix’s adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender.

He is joined by Arrival’s Abigail Pniowsky as Max Davis, Second Chance’s Dilshad Vadsaria as Elizabeth Vasani, Miss Junettenth’s Amanda Reid as Carter Kennedy and Pulse’s Jessy Yates as Morgan.

Me’s guest stars also include Orange County star Kyle Howard as Phil Davis and NCIS Hawaii’s Sharif Atkins as Darren Kennedy.

Me is available to watch on Apple TV+.
