Bridgerton fans cannot wait for the remaining season three episodes to drop, following the part one climax last month.
Netflix subscribers were left wanting more as the series three midseason finale left everyone feeling a little hot under the collar in that intense carriage scene.
Ahead of the romantic drama returning for part two, Express.co.uk takes a look at everything that happened in the first half.
What happened in Bridgerton season 3 part 1?
Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington
Of course, the main focus of season three is on Colin Bridgerton (played by Luke Newton) and his friendship-turned-romance with Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan).
She had spent most of the first four episodes looking for a husband with Lord Debling (Sam Phillips) looking like he could be a match but this wasn’t to be.
After leaving a party, Colin stopped Penelope’s carriage and confessed his true feelings for her, leading to a very steamy and unexpected scene.
And as the carriage stopped outside the Bridgerton household, he asked her to marry him, leaving the show on an almighty cliffhanger.

Francesca Bridgerton
This year is Francesca Bridgerton’s (Hannah Dodd) first year in society and already she has found herself in a love triangle.
There is Queen Charlotte’s (Golda Rosheuvel) ideal match for her in Marquis Samadani (David Mumeni) and then there’s Earl John Stirling (Victor Alli) who has caught her eye.
Given how thrilled she was for the Earl to gift her a piece of music in episode four, it does appear that she has made her mind up but how will the Queen react?
Benedict Bridgerton
Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) may have met his match in widow Lady Tilley Arnold (Hannah New) who hasn’t beaten around the bush with courting.
They were last seen lying naked together in bed so only time will tell if their relationship is going to develop.

Lady Danbury’s brother
Lady Danbury’s (Adjoa Andoh) brother Lord Marcus Anderson (Daniel Francis) has been welcomed into the fold but she wasn’t exactly pleased to see him.
As of yet, there has been no indication of why she isn’t his biggest fan but this is bound to be explored in part two.
There also appeared to be a flirtation between Marcus and Lady Violet Bridgerton (Ruth Gemmell), someone who is yet to find romance in the show since her late husband’s passing.
Mr and Mrs Mondrich
The married couple have a very different problem on their hands, having come into some money following the passing of a rich relative.
But while Mrs Mondrich (Emma Naomi) wants to fully enter society, Mr Mondrich (Martins Imhangbe) doesn’t want to leave behind his beloved club that he’s built from the ground up so what will he choose?
Why did Harry and Meghan make a Netflix series about their life?
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have found themselves at the centre of public attention since they took a step back from senior royal duties in 2020.
In a trailer for the Netflix series about them, Prince Harry told viewers that “no one sees what’s happening behind closed doors” in a reference to how their lives may differ from what the public think about the couple. Meghan adds: “When the stakes are this high, doesn’t it make more sense to hear our story from us?”.
Reports suggested the Duke and Duchess of Sussex could receive up to $100 million for making the show, although this has been disputed and the true figure is unknown.
Anthony and Kate
Anthony (Jonathan Bailey) and Kate Bridgerton (Simone Ashley) may have been at the heart of season two but they have well and truly taken a step back for this third outing.
Instead, they are focused more on spending a lot of quality time together and the idea of making an heir.
Eloise Bridgerton
Eloise Bridgerton (Claudia Jessie) was still at loggerheads with Penelope after discovering that she is Lady Whistledown.
The trailer teases, however, that Eloise is going to threaten to reveal the truth to Colin which could put this love story in jeopardy.
Bridgerton season three part two premieres on Thursday, June 13, on Netflix.
