ITV The Chase fans fume contestant was ‘stitched up’ after ‘stupid’ questions
The Chase viewers were less than impressed with the questions one player was being asked by Bradley Walsh on the ITV show.
The Chase: Bradley says guest's questions have been 'tricky'
On Tuesday night, ITV viewers tuned in to watch a fresh batch of contestants try to win some cash on The Chase. However, when it was time for 39-year-old Beckie to face the chaser, things took a turn.
Although she managed to earn an impressive £5,000 in her cashbuilder, when it came to the table the questions she was being asked seemed a lot harder. As she faced Paul ‘The Sinnerman’ Sinha, the contestant seemed to guess the majority of her answers.
It wasn’t long before fans watching the show took to Twitter to share their thoughts, as some believed the contestant had been stitched up. @Michael84954191 commented: “The contestants' questions were much harder than the chaser's tonight!#TheChase.”
@ArtForAndysSake added: “Jeez didn't they want Beckie to go through? Them questions were hard as F**k, stitched up.” @mary_pippin1 said: “Flipping tough questions to be fair on Beckie.”
@lilithsanctom tweeted: “Someone at ITV really wanted her out with those questions.” With @RupertLichfield agreeing: “Tough set of questions.”
@FlopsyPickle blasted: “What stupid questions.”
It wasn’t just the viewers who were stumped by the questions being asked to Beckie as host Bradley Walsh also highlighted how hard they were.
He said: “I’m telling you now, these have been tricky head-to-heads haven’t they? Haven’t they been hard questions?
“I tell you what, you’ve done well getting here. I’d have been out way up there.”

As she managed to correctly guess her way through the majority of the questions, Bradley highlighted her luck as she didn’t know the answers for definite.
One step away from home, Beckie had one more question to try and get right as the host added: “I’ll be honest with you, you deserve a question you know now.
“It’s been so stressful, if you were stressed out there it’s been a nightmare here.”
Sadly, Beckie’s luck had run out as she didn’t get the last question right and was caught by Paul.
Emphasising once again how hard her round was, Bradley called Beckie a brilliant player regardless.
In the end, it was only David and Josephine who had managed to make their way through to the final chase.
With a two-step head start, the duo managed to get 11 answers right and had set a target of 13 for the chaser to beat.
However, they were no match for Paul who caught the final two players with 39 seconds left on the clock
The Chase continues weekdays on ITV from 5pm.
