Luke Littler suffered a slight mishap on Thursday morning before speaking to the hosts on Good Morning Britain. The blunder comes after the 16-year-old was dealt a crushing blow after losing out on the World Darts Championship win.
Hosts Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard told viewers they’d be speaking to the 16-year-old later on in the show as a camera cut to the darts player. However, as Luke started walking to the studio, he seemed to get slightly lost.
As fans watched Luke make his way to the presenters, Susanna said: “We’ll put a smile back on your face Luke, don’t worry,” While Ben added: “He’s gone the wrong way!”
Competition host Andi Peters could be heard giving an audible laugh as Ben added: “It was the other door, Andi’s going to go and try to rescue him.” Susanna told viewers Luke had made his way into the green room.
The camera cut to Andi heading over to the darts player so he could redirect him the correct way. Suanna commented: “Our competition genius Andi bringing him into the studio.”
When Luke entered the studio with Ben and Susanna the pair cheered and clapped as he made his way over to the desk.
She told him: “Don’t look downcast! We’re so proud of you, well done.”
On Wednesday night, people tuned in to watch Luke Littler go head-to-head with Luke Humphries.
In a nail-biting final, it was Humphries who came out on top after beating Littler 7-4.

However, the 16-year-old had nothing but kind words when speaking about his competitor who won the championship.
In the interview, Luke [Littler] said: “He’s just a top guy, there’s pictures from five years ago when we played in a competition.
“He beat me, but it’s just all respect to him. He’s still on an 18 or 19 win streak, he’s won the past four majors so hopefully I can stop the streak somehow, somewhere!”
It wasn’t long before viewers took to Twitter to share their thoughts on Luke as many praised his incredible journey throughout the competition.
