Emmerdale actress Jessie Elland had nothing but kind words to say about Lawrence Robb, who plays the father to her unborn baby on the ITV soap.
Emmerdale's Chloe says co-star is an 'absolute gem' to work with
Last year, Mackenzie Boyd (played by Lawrence Robb) was struggling to connect with partner Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) after the tragic loss of their unborn child.
Finding it hard to cope with what had happened, Mackenzie got drunk and had a one-night stand with Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) which resulted in her falling pregnant.
Despite leaving the village, she recently returned with ITV viewers watching Mackenzie try to keep this secret from fiance Charity.
However, Emmerdale fans will see drama unfold as Chloe’s waters break on the day Mack and Charity are due to get married.
Appearing on Thursday’s instalment of Lorraine, actress Jessie Elland spoke about working alongside the soap stars as her secret pregnancy storyline comes to a head.

The ITV host questioned: “You actually get on incredibly well don’t you?”
She replied: “With Lawrence? Yeah he’s an absolute gem, honestly, he puts up with a lot of work with me.
“I’m like an annoying little sister that’s like, ‘Lawrence what’re you having for lunch? Lawrence, what do you think of that?’
“So yeah, he’s so lovely and Emma as well it’s just wonderful.”

The Emmerdale star confessed to Lorraine that although it sounds corny, the whole cast of the ITV soap is like a giant family.
Jessie, who doesn’t have children of her own, touched on the research she undertook in order to accurately portray Chloe’s story.
She commented: “I really really wanted to get it right. I was really lucky because I got to speak to a lovely midwife called Hayley before we filmed.
“Then when we were filming on set we had a medical advisor called Chloe, incidentally, she was really really supportive.”
Jessie confessed she had spoken to various different people on set and who she knew in real life who had had children to get advice.
She continued: “There was a range of different answers which made it more intimidating because I was like, ‘Which would I do?’
“But it was nice because it meant that on the day, I could just let go and I had all that research and support to try and grab onto.”
