A quarter of a century after The Full Monty became a surprise international hit movie the beloved characters are back in a new TV show.
The eight-part series which will premiere in the UK on Disney+ in June catches up with the beloved characters as they are today.
Brand new images have just been released showing them reprising the iconic roles.
Game of thrones star Mark Addy and Trainspotting’s Robert Carlyle are back as Dave and Gaz respectively.
They are joined by Scott and Bailey’s Lesley Sharp as Jean, Only Fools and Horses star Paul Barber as Horse, Coronation Street alum Steve Huison as Lomper and Michael Clayton star Tom Wilkinson as Gerald.

Perhaps the most unrecognisable returnee is Wim Snape who was only a child when he appeared in the movie as Gaz’s son Nathan.
He is all grown up in the sequel and in the spoiler images he appears to be working as a policeman.
However, the images of the other characters give away little about their current circumstances.
What fans do know is that the comedy-drama will uncover what happened to the gang after their legendary strip show.
It will also highlight how the fiercely funny world of these working-class heroes – still residing in Sheffield – has changed in the intervening decades.

In the original 1997 movie Robert Carlyle’s Gaz recruited a group of fellow unemployed men to put on a strip show in the town.
The title came from his boast that unlike the Chippendales his group would go “the full Monty” meaning they would strip completely naked.
While his impetus was to raise money to pay his child support as the film progressed all the men regained a sense of purpose from the project.
The final scene has become iconic as they dance to Tom Jones You Can Leave Your Hat on ending up naked throwing their hats in the air.
The movie ended up the highest-grossing film in the UK until it was surpassed by Titanic.
It won the BAFTA Award and European Film Award for Best Film, and was nominated for Academy Awards for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay and Best Original Musical or Comedy Score, winning the last.
This isn’t the first time it has been adapted for another medium.
In 2000 it was turned into a stage musical and in 2013 a play based on the movie debuted.
The Full Monty will air on Disney+ in June.
