The Tourist is the BBC's upcoming comedy-drama starring Jamie Dornan as The Man. As a British ex-pat travelling Australia, he is run off the road by a mysterious driver. Losing his memory soon after, The Man has to tirelessly figure out who he is before the figures from his past find him. The miniseries is bringing together a star-studded cast and Express.co.uk has all the details ahead of the premiere.
What time does The Tourist premiere?
The Tourist is the highly anticipated drama coming to BBC One from the writers behind The Missing and Baptiste, Harry and Jack Williams.
Split into six parts, the show will release its full season across January.
The first episode will premiere at 9pm on January 1 on BBC One.
Episode two will be released on the following day, January 2, at the same time.

Viewers in the USA will be able to watch the show on HBO Max, which has exclusive streaming rights for the country.
HBO Max sets users back $14.99 per month, but there is also a seven-day free trial available for new subscribers.
In the UK, BBC iPlayer will be streaming the show, with the platform also dropping the first episode at 9pm.
Speaking to the BBC, the Williams brothers shared their excitement for fans to see the show.
The brothers said: “The Tourist is a departure from anything we’ve written before.
“It isn’t an easy show to categorise – so we won’t. We are, however, hugely excited to have Chris Sweeney on board as director and to be making this for the BBC.

Jamie Dornan may lead the cast, but he is joined by a series of familiar faces.
The main cast includes Shalom Brune-Franklin as Luci, Danielle MacDonald as Helen, Damon Herriman as Lachlan, and Alex Dimitriades as Kostas.
The show has been billed as a miniseries, so it is unlikely to receive a second season.
"I had very little time off, so it was very extreme, but I loved it," Dornan added in an interview with the BBC.
The star took his family with him for the 17-week long shoot, as he didn't want to break their "two-week rule" of separation.
The Tourist will premiere at 9pm on January 1 on BBC One. The show will be released later in the year on HBO Max in the USA.
