STRICTLY COME DANCING fans have welcomed back the glitz and glamour of the show with open arms but how much do the stars earn? Express.co.uk has everything you need to know on the judges, contestants and professional dancers' salaries.
Strictly Come Dancing play sounds from hidden microphones
Strictly Come Dancing has seen more glittery 10 paddles waved by the judges at this stage of the competition than ever before. The bar has been set extremely high this year with the remaining contestants impressing the experts and at-home judges with their dance moves. But behind the scenes, there is a discrepancy in pay among some of the show's stars.
The professional dancers
While the celebrities are changed every year, the dancers teaching them the skills mostly stay the same.
So, much like the judges, they are an integral part of the Strictly Come Dancing experience.
The professionals are reportedly paid between £30,000 and £50,000 per series.
The winners of each season are likely to get a higher salary so having won the previous two series, dancer Oti Mabuse is expected to have earned the most.

Some of the more experienced dancers would have also been paid a higher amount.
For example, Anton Du Beke was said to be earning £65,000 when he on the dancefloor.
The judges
Motsi Mabuse
Professional dancer, Germany's Let's Dance judge and Oti's sister joined the judging panel ini 2019.
She was given a starting salary of £200,000 but it isn't clear if this amount has gone up since then.
Craig Revel Horwood
The villain of the panel Craig Revel Horwood is one of the only original judges left behind the desk.
His salary started on £110,000 which went up to £180,000 in 2019, making him the lowest-paid judge on the series.
According to The Sun, this was once again upped to £200,000 in 2020.
Bruno Toniolo
The enthusiastic Italian has also been on Strictly since it started in 2004.
Despite being on the show for the same amount of time, Tonioli typically earned £250,000, £50,000 more than Reven Horwood.
Toniolo hasn't been on the show for the past couple of series though as he remains in America due to Covid-19 travel restrictions.

Anton Du Beke
Anton had been one of the professional dancers for years but in 2021, he gave it up to become a member of the judging panel.
He is reportedly earning somewhere between £175,000 and £200,000 in his new role.
Shirley Ballas
Head judge Shirley was welcomed to the show in 2017 and was paid £180,000 which was more than Revel Horwood even then.
She has since negotiated a pay rise and is said to be on £500,000 per series, more than any of her fellow judges.
The contestants
Each celebrity is awarded £25,000 for signing up to Strictly Come Dancing.
This then increases to £40,000 if they make it past the first month of the competition.
Quarter-finalists are given £60,000, finalists £75,000 and the Strictly champion is said to be given a whopping £100,000.
Strictly Come Dancing airs every Saturday night on BBC One.
