Outlander season 6: Claire Fraser’s death ‘sealed’ as Diana Gabaldon drops chilling teaser
OUTLANDER fans are currently enduring a very long Droughtlander as they wait for filming for the sixth season to resume. However, the cast and crew have teamed up for four special episodes which will kick off today.
Outlander cast tease their 'end of summer series' for fans
One of the special Outlander episodes will see executive producer Maril Davis interview author of the novels, Diana Gabaldon. There seem to be plenty of secrets and surprises in store for fans of the Starz series as the teaser for the instalments sees Diana hint at the fate of Claire Fraser (played by Caitriona Balfe).
Claire has come close to death on several occasions, most notably int he season five finale when she was kidnapped by Lionel Brown (Ned Dennehy) and his men.
In the sixth season there have been hints Claire will suffer from a bad bout of dysentery.
Speaking at the PaleyFest in LA earlier this month, actress Caitriona explained Claire may get a hair cut.
Her teaser could refer to the moment in A Breath of Snow and Ashes which sees her battle dysentery and have her hair shaved to help bring down her temperature.

Could this be the storyline Maril and Diana are talking about in the first Outlander special episode?
In the blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment, Maril asks: “But you didn’t say Claire survives?”
“No, I didn’t,” Diana simply replies leaving Maril shocked by the teaser.
Has Diana just confirmed Claire will be dead by the time Outlander comes to an end?
Also in the special episode, Diana will answer fans questions and preview the upcoming ninth book in the series.
Meanwhile for the second instalment, Marsali Fraser star Lauren Lyle and Young Ian actor John Bell will join Theresa Carle-Sanders, author of Outlander Kitchen to talk about dishes inspired by the show.
Outlander composer Bear McCreary and singer Raya Yarbrough will breakdown their favourite musical moments in episode three.

They will also be joined by Aunt Jocasta star Maria Doyle Kennedy who will give a special performance of Flowers of the Forest.
For the fourth and final instalment, lead stars Caitriona and Sam Heughan, best known as Jamie Fraser, will reunite.
They will be discussing their favourite moments from the series and answer questions from fans around the world.
One question is shown in the teaser with a fan asking: “I would like to know what it was like working with the maggots.”
“Like a bowl of Rice Krispies,” Caitriona reveals referencing Claire’s medical methods in the 18th Century.
The four episodes are being released to support Doctors Without Borders, who are on the frontline of the coronavirus pandemic.
It will also give fans the chance to find out more about season six and hear plenty of backstage secrets.
