Ancoats provided the scenes for 1960s London. Scenes around Tina and Bobby’s house in Essex were filmed in Sale, which is in Greater Manchester.
The crews left the UK for some of the shots as the couple's honeymoon scenes were shot in Palma, Majorca.
Michelle Keegan plays Tina, whilst Lorne MacFadyen takes on the role of England and West Ham legend, Bobby Moore.

Series writer Lauren Klee told the Evening Standard: “I was immediately drawn to Tina as a character.
"She’s at once gutsy and vulnerable, which creates an interesting foil to Bobby’s more old fashioned, reserved personality. I liked the idea of football as the ‘mistress’ in their marriage.”
