Riverdale season 4 episode 19 release date: When does Riverdale season 4 finale air?
RIVERDALE is almost over for another season. But when will the series 4 finale be shown?
Riverdale: Archie and Betty lay in bed with each other
Riverdale will be finishing up its fourth season sooner than expected due to the worldwide lockdown thanks to the coronavirus pandemic. This means The CW teen drama will be shorter than normal. Here's everything you need to know about watching the Riverdale season 4 finale.
WARNING: This article contains spoilers from Riverdale season 4.
The majority of Riverdale's season four has been focused on the mystery surrounding the death of Jughead Jones (played by Cole Sprouse).
His death was teased throughout the majority of the series with flash-forward moments and after he was injured in the forest, it was unclear whether or not he survived the attack.
Thankfully, Jughead was alive and had been hiding out in the secret bunker to fake his death while trying to figure out why the Stonewall Prep students wanted him dead.
But when this was all cleared up, there was another major storyline which got viewers' attention.

As part of the plan to convince everyone Jughead was really dead, girlfriend Betty Cooper (Lili Reinhart) and Archie Andrews (KJ Apa) pretended to be in a relationship.
However, when it was over and life got back to normal, it seemed the pair had developed real feelings for one another and in musical episode Wicked Little Town, kissed during rehearsal.
Betty and Archie thought about getting together and he even wrote her a song which he was about to serenade her with in the bunker where Jughead hid.
This romantic moment was soon stopped by Betty when she told them what they were doing was wrong and she was still in love with Jughead.
Could this be the end of Betty and Archie - known to fans as Barchie - for good or will they rekindle their secret romance?
When does the Riverdale season 4 finale air?
Like many shows across the world, Riverdale was unable to finish filming the entirety of the fourth season.
The makers of the drama had intended there to be 22 episodes but were only able to film 19.
So episode 19 which is called Killing Mr Honey, will instead be the new season finale.
Luckily, there isn't too much longer to wait now until the final episode is shown.
