Peaky Blinders: BBC release series five bonus scene
All five seasons of Peaky Blinders are available to stream and download on BBC iPlayer and Netflix now. The Birmingham-based gangster drama first aired in 2013 and has built up a loyal fan base each year. Season five was perhaps the show’s biggest season yet, earning the 9pm Sunday evening spot on BBC One and even hosting a festival dedicated to the show in the summer. Now, there will be an official Peaky Blinders soundtrack available to purchase just in time for Christmas.
When is the Peaky Blinders soundtrack out?
Yesterday (October 23), the official Peaky Blinders Instagram account revealed an accompanying soundtrack to the series would be released.
The entire album will be available to purchase from Friday, November 15.
You can pre-order the soundtrack now on CD, Vinyl and online.
On Amazon, the Vinyl costs £29.99 and the CD £10.99.
The Vinyl’s soundtrack will be split over three discs and the CD’s over two.

What songs are on the Peaky Blinders soundtrack?
The Peaky Blinders soundtrack will feature music from David Bowie, The Arctic Monkeys, Jenny Beth from Savages, Anna Calvi, Richard Hawley and Radiohead amongst many more.
The soundtrack will also feature the Peaky Blinders theme song, Red Right Hand, by Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds.
PJ Harvey also covers the title song on the album, which is available to listen to on her YouTube channel now.
Looking at the soundtrack list, the album may also feature lines from the show from the likes of Paul Anderson who plays Arthur, Tom Hardy as Alfie Soloman, Helen McCrory as Polly Gray, Sophie Rundell as Ada and Cillian Murphy as Tommy.

For example, the opening track is titled Tommy: ‘It’s Not A Good Idea…’ and track number 10 is called Alfie: ‘I’ve Heard Very Bad, Bad, Bad Things…’

However, Steven Knight has confirmed he as stared writing the sixth season.
Knight said in an interview with Slate: “I’m about to start writing season six now and if all the wheels fall off, or it goes horribly wrong, there’s probably people that will say something.
“But at this moment, it has its own logic and momentum. Right now, it feels as if the characters are just writing themselves.”

Director Anthony Byrne told GQ: “I'm reading the scripts at the moment, which Steven is writing. I start properly on series six in early November. Then we start shooting early next year, is the plan.“
Once season six of Peaky Blinders is given the green light, it is likely to premiere in 2021 on BBC One. However, if filming begins later this year, it could well be 2020.
The series will then premiere on Netflix worldwide, shortly after season six has finished airing in the UK.
The previous five seasons of Peaky Blinders have debuted in September, August and May, so there is hope that season six could have a release date of summer 2020 or summer 2021.
