Love Island: Curtis WOWS Maura with intense lap dance
Love Island 2019 continues tonight (Thursday, July 11) at 9pm on ITV2. Tonight’s episode will pick up from the results of the heart rate challenge last night (Wednesday, July 10) and there is potential for some heads to turn over the coming days. Some Islanders' hearts did not race for the person they are currently coupled up with, so there are some questions to be asked. Here’s a look at the results of one of the most entertaining challenges of the series so far.
Who won the Love Island heart rate challenge?
Last night on Love Island, the Islanders took part in the heart rate challenge.
The aim of the game was to get the opposite sex's hearts racing with a dance routine and the team who had the highest score on the heart rate scale won.
The challenge saw the boys versus girls, with the females going first.
As the boys sat on the seats beside the firepit wearing heart monitors, each of the girls one by one danced in front of each them.
After all seven girls performed, the boys danced for each of them as they wore heart monitors.
The girls were the overall winners of the Love Island heart rate challenge.
Maura Higgins' performance for Curtis Pritchard, especially when she kissed him for the first time, obviously sent his heart racing.
Curtis also put in maximum effort to send Maura's heart racing, even picking her up and kissing her in front of all the other Islanders.
Another stand out moment for the girls was when it was revealed Michael Griffiths' heart rate was raised the most by his former flame, Amber Gill.
Michael coupled up with new girl Joanna Chimonides after Casa Amor leaving Amber heartbroken. But sadly for Joanna, she was not able to get Michael all hot and bothered as Amber did.
Speaking in the beach hut, Amber explained how she gave all of the boys equal attention so they did not feel left out.
Poor Joanna even kissed Michael during the challenge, and his heart rate was still much higher for Amber.
As Amber read out the results, she could not hide her amusement at the fact Michael was more impressed with her performance.
Here is a breakdown of the individual heart race challenge results:
