OUTLANDER season five is in production and fans are excited for their favourite show to return. Now, they have been treated to a rarity as the whole cast are joined together in the same place.
Outlander: Producers are ‘excited’ for new season
The official Outlander Starz Twitter page has released a behind-the-scenes promo video and fans cannot get enough of the fact all the cast are in the same place together.
The video pans to all of the cast in filming in Scotland and Outlander’s Twitter page proudly announced: “The clan’s all here. See what our cast and crew have been up to on the set of #Outlander Season five.”
Fans were delighted at the tease: “Very excited for season five. Wonderful to see the core cast together.”
Another added: “Amazing! Love to see them all on the Ridge together.”
A third said: “Thank you for this! So excited to see season five #RogerMac and the whole family.”
Claire Fraser (played by Caitriona Balfe), Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan), Brianna (Sophie Skelton) and Roger (Richard Rankin) were all in the video and unite at the Ridge.
Murtagh Fitzgibbons star Duncan Lacroix told fans: “We’re back at Fraser’s Ridge on a beautiful, sunny day in Scotland.”
Sophie Skelton teased: ‘We’re all here for that something special that fans are going to be excited to see.”
The video shows filming in Scotland of scenes at Fraser’s Ridge and revealed a lot of scenes will take place there.
Caitriona reveals: “Fraser’s Ridge is going to continue to be a big part of our story.”
Themes of home and family are still very central
She also added: “This season we are getting bigger and better.”
And then it is teased: “There’s going to be more drama, more adventure. And, of course, the Fraser Clan is getting bigger.”
While Jamie actor Sam adds: “Themes of home and family are still very central.”
Fans are looking forward to seeing more of Jamie’s new look for season five.

Meanwhile, Claire star Caitriona has already teased fans with a picture of the first script and fans cannot wait for Droughtlander to end.
A release date for the fifth instalment is yet to be revealed but already a sixth series has been commissioned.
The news was announced last year with the network's CEO Chris Albrecht saying: "Fans can rest assured their beloved Claire and Jamie will be back facing new challenges, adversaries and adventures in seasons five and six as we delve into American history and continue the story of the Frasers as they settle in the New World.”
The fifth series is expected to be released later this year, with the sixth coming in 2020.
Fans in the US will soon be able to see season one and two on Netflix.
There was a huge controversy at Netflix Family’s Twitter post, which some fans viewed as sexist and alienating.
Outlander season five is due to air next year on Starz and Amazon Prime.
