Emmerdale spoilers: Kim Tate drops Joe Tate bombshell leaving Cain Dingle in turmoil
EMMERDALE fans tuned in to watch Kim Tate finally tell Cain Dingle that Joe Tate is actually alive. However, fans were left baffled by a big plot hole behind this reveal.
Emmerdale: Graham Foster hides the body of Joe Tate
The whole Joe Tate (played by Ned Porteous) saga has been keeping Emmerdale fans on the edge of their seats.
Fans weren’t sure whether he was still alive or not after it was heavily suggested that Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) killed him.
However, Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) was left to believe he was the one who murdered Joe, yet he was told on last night’s episode he didn’t kill him and Joe’s still alive.
Emmerdale fans were puzzled by the reveal and spotted some plot holes in Kim’s story, namely, why did she tell Cain, and if Kim could track down Joe via an image of him abroad, how come Interpol couldn’t?
Kim finally told Cain everything on last night’s episode after Noah Tate (Jack Downham) overheard her and Graham discussing hiding the photo of Joe from Cain.
Cain then confronted Kim, and she revealed all and explained how she was the one who offered a reward for information regarding Joe’s whereabouts.
However, fans were left confused by this revelation and suggested that Kim might be up to something since her revealing all now just doesn’t make sense.
One viewer wrote: “Why the hell would Kim suddenly tell Cain Joe's NOT actually dead after all? She's definitely up to something ain't she?”
Another added: “I’m shocked that Kim has just told Cain that Joe isn't dead.”
A third viewer commented: “Wa hey! I can't believe Kim's just told Cain the truth!”
One more viewer tweeted: “Kim told Cain Joe ain't dead.”
Kim spilled the beans on Joe's whereabouts and it seemed she was certainly enjoying winding up the mechanic.
"You need to tell me what you've got on me," Cain threatened in last night’s episode.
"Very manly," she replied with a grin. "Love it when you're manly."
Cain then asked here if the police were going to discover Joe’s body or not, and he later added: "Tell me how you're going to prove I killed Joe."

"I can't," she replied mysteriously. "But here's the thing - I can prove you didn't."
Cain was baffled by her response, and Kim then added: "There's something Graham forgot to tell you.”
She then finally dropped the bombshell fans have been waiting for for so long, saying: “Joe's not dead."
“It is difficult, but Joe is a joy to work with, and he’s so mature for his age,” she began explaining during an interview with What’s On TV.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV.
