The cast of Baptiste appear back on-screen tonight on BBC One (Sunday, March 17). Led by Tchéky Karyo, with the cast continue to investigate the disappearance of Natalie Rose (played by Anna Prochniak) in the series. Tchéky Karyo leads the Baptiste cast, which also includes Tom Hollander, Clare Calbraith, and Boris Van Severen. The BBC One drama will air tonight at 9pm and will be available shortly after broadcast on iPlayer.
Who stars in Baptiste on BBC One?
Julien Baptiste – Tchéky Karyo
Karyo, 65, reprises the role of Detective Julien Baptiste from Starz series The Missing for his own spin-off on BBC One.
The Baptiste actor is also recognisable for his roles in a number of Hollywood blockbusters including The Patriot, The Core, and Taking Lives.
Edward Stratton – Tom Hollander
Hollander lands the role of Edward Stratton fresh off the success of starring in Netflix smash Bird Box.
Known for his roles in BBC’s Taboo and AMC's The Night Manager, the 51-year-old has also starred in Rev, Doctor Thorne, and FOX's American Dad!
Celia Baptiste – Anastasia Hille
Hille will play the role of Julien’s wife Celia having first been introduced to the role in The Missing back in 2014.
Away from The Missing and Baptiste, the 53-year-old’s biggest role arguably cam win 2012 blockbuster Snow White and the Huntsman.
Constantin – Alex Secareanu
Romanian-born actor Secareanu will appear opposite Karyo for the first time in Baptiste having failed to appear in The Missing.
Before the BBC series, Secareanu landed parts in God’s Own Country and Chosen.
Natalie Rose – Anna Próchniak
Próchniak stars in all six episodes of Baptiste on BBC One as Amsterdam local Natalie Rose.
The Polish actress has starred in a number of Poland’s biggest blockbusters of recent years, including Warsaw ’44 and Vargur.
Peter – Nicolas Woodeson
Woodeson, who starred in James Bond thriller Skyfall, did not appear in The Missing but does star in every episode of Baptiste opposite Karyo.
Before becoming a stalwart in the Baptiste cast, the 69-year-old also landed roles in Paddington 2, BBC series Taboo, and Sky One’s Delicious.
Martha Horchner – Barbara Sarafian
Sarafian plays Martha Horchner, an Amsterdam policewoman who plays a pivotal role in Baptist’s investigation.
Born in Belgium, the actor has starred in a number of Belgian blockbusters such as Moscow, Belgium, and Brasserie Romantiek.
Kim Vogel – Talisa Garcia
Kim Vogel shows her face in every episode of Baptiste on BBC One.
