Strictly Come Dancing 2018: ‘You’re emotional’ Faye Tozer BREAKS DOWN after perfect score
STRICTLY COME DANCING this evening saw Faye Tozer get a perfect score from the judges and the former Steps star ended up breaking down live on air.
Strictly: Faye cries after receiving her score
Strictly Come Dancing has already seen a bunch of brilliant performances this year.
However, Faye Tozer and Giovanni Pernice may have just performed the most remarkable routine on tonight’s show.
They were dancing the Charleston from The Sound of Music, and they blew away the judges with their incredible performance.
They ended up awarding Faye and Giovanni a perfect score of 40, and Faye was overcome with emotion.
She went straight into Giovanni’s arms and could be heard sobbing.
“Are you alright,” asked Claudia Winkleman.
“That has got to feel good,” she added.
“Yeah,” Faye said, who was now very much overcome with emotion.
“I mean, you’re emotional. You jumped onto the sofa. You were on the floor,” added Claudia.
“40. That’s the first time you got 40.
“Because Craig didn’t give a lot away. He just went ‘well done’, and I was like, ‘Oh, that could go any which way’.”
Fans seemed to be very happy with Faye's performance, and they took to Twitter to voice their support for the couple.
One viewer tweeted: “Absolutely ecstatic for Faye though omg. 40! So deserved.”
Another added: “Faye to win.”
A third wrote: “Faye and Giovanni what a great dance. They and we enjoyed it.”
Strictly: Bruno wears TINY shorts for group dance
A fourth viewer wrote: “Faye is SO good. She should find four other people and form a dance band and really become a professional dancer.”
Meanwhile, viewers were a bit take aback by Bruno Tonioli’s choice of shorts in tonight’s opening routine.
Viewers were also a bit shocked by how quickly the judges managed to change costumes after the opening number.
Strictly Come Dancing is currently on BBC One.
