Dynasties: Lions attempt to take on a two TONNE hippo
Dynasties aired on BBC One this evening and viewers tuned to watch tonight’s episode on lions.
The show followed a pride of lions and there were many moments that had viewers in tears.
However, Sir David Attenborough narrated a segment which had viewers crying with laughter rather than sadness.
The moment in question was when one of the younger male lions, Tatu, attempted to hunt a huge hippopotamus.
The lion was very much mismatched, and the hunt was a resounding failure.
The hippopotamus merely shrugged off the lion and carried on with its day.
However, viewers then took to Twitter to comment on Tatu’s failed hunt.
“No way. He's not gonna get the hippo,” one viewer wrote.
Another said: “Lion vs Hippo. Let the fight commence.”
A third viewer wrote: “That hippo should just spray him with shit if he does that again.”
Another added: “Only an idiot tries to take on a hippo, lion or not.”
One tweeted: “No chance with the hippo ffs lad leave it.”
Last week’s episode of Dynasties saw viewers in floods of tears.
But there was some trauma ahead for one baby penguin as they were taken from their parents.
There was a violent tussle between the chickless females who wanted the baby for themselves, and eventually, one of them was successful.

“It’s so traumatic watching #Dynasties,” a third added.
Dynasties continues Sunday on BBC One.
