X Factor: Robbie jokes about seeing Simon 'four faces' ago
X Factor was back in ITV this evening and it saw its fair share of drama.
Things got very heated after Scarlett Lee took to the stage.
The singer from Essex sang This Is Me from The Greatest Showman and ended up getting a standing ovation, yet some of the judges weren’t very impressed with Simon’s reaction.
There were calls from the other judges for Simon to “sit down” after his rather prolonged standing ovation for his act, Scarlett.
“You’re irritating,” said judge Louis Tomlinson.
That said, the judges were very impressed by Scarlett's performance, yet Robbie suggested the show’s entire budget had been spent on her performance.
Scarlett had a troop of backing singers join her on stage, and Robbie claimed that Simon might have given his act a little extra boost.
“Scarlett, I think you sang that better than the original,” said Robbie.
“It’s interesting that there were seventy people on stage with you.
“It’s almost like someone wants to blow the entire budget on you,” he finished.
Simon retorted: “That it low”.
Meanwhile, Ayda Field was interrupted by Robbie Williams earlier tonight while trying to give feedback following a performance.
She began: “I think I’m in a really good mood because my husband’s back first of all.
“By the way Robbie Williams, thank you, thank you for showing up. It’s so nice of you to pop in,” she jokingly remarked.
“Listen, Brendan you were amazing just now, you lit up the room.
