The Chase: Bradley Walsh MOCKS Shaun Wallace after ‘shocking’ game performance
THE CHASE viewers saw an interesting episode this evening as Bradley Walsh welcomed a new team onto the competition to take on the chaser Shaun Wallace.
The Chase: Bradley Walsh implies Shaun is not doing a good job
This evening’s edition of The Chase pitted Bradley Walsh against Shaun Wallace once again - but it seems like he was not impressed with his performance.
While the first member of Bradley’s team was quickly taken down by Shaun, he soon began stumbling through the questions.
As each contestant made their way to the podium Shaun continued to get question after question wrong.
This paved the way for a turbulent episode for Shaun as he got answered a number of questions incorrectly at the same time as the contestants, leaving them in a period of stalemate.
Bradley even commented on his performance saying: “One of you needs to get a question right or we’ll be here all night!”
This was enough to push Shaun to work harder on taking down the third contestant of the evening.
After successfully getting rid of the second team member of the night, Bradley went on to comment: “That’s the second one you’ve gotten rid of,” to which he replied: “I know.”
Bradley continued: “You’re playing well tonight!”
And Shaun continued to gloat, adding: “Thank you.”
But Bradley soon showed his true colours, as he gestured towards his nose growing, referencing the classic Disney film Pinnochio.
This caused the audience and the remaining members of the team to fall into hysterics, and fans were elated as well.
One wrote on Twitter: “Bradley is on his top form of fooling Shaun #thechase.”
Another said: “Bradley just said Shaun is playing well - must be referring to another game #TheChase.”
Meanwhile other viewers pointed out Shaun’s supposedly bad day at the office, with one writing: “Shaun isn't doing to good at the min #Thechase.”
And another agreed: “This is the worst I've seen from Shaun. Shocking #Thechase.”
Yesterday’s episode of the show saw Anne Hegerty hitting back at Bradley Walsh after she admitted to getting her question wrong.
She then added: “I don’t have to tell you that, but I’m going to.”
And Bradley chimed in to reply: “I think it’s good that you do.
“I think it’s good the chasers fess up when they get one wrong. I like it.”
The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
