Stacey Dooley: Strictly Come Dancing star hit with shock setback ahead of Movie Week
STACEY DOOLEY will be hoping to impress the Strictly Come Dancing judges tonight with her performance to Happy by Pharell Williams.
Strictly's Kevin Clifton reveals Stacey Dooley said her goodbyes
Stacey Dooley has been impressing the Strictly Come Dancing judges each week with her performances.
She and professional partner Kevin Clifton will be dressing as Minions tonight as they embrace Movie Week.
Following the first episode, Stacey quickly became the bookies favourite to lift the Glitterball.
However, ahead of tonight’s show, she’s been hit with a shock set back and she’s no longer favourite to win.
YouTube star Joe Sugg’s odds of winning have been cut to 4-1 with Ashley Roberts close behind with 5-1.
However Stacey is now joint third with Faye Tozer with odds of 6-1 to win the series.
Speaking about Joe’s chance of winning now, a spokesperson for Coral said: “Joe continues to attract a flurry of bets to win the series following his performance last weekend.
“It will be interesting to see if he can impress again on the dance floor in his latest routine.”
This means Stacey will have to pull out all the stops to impress the judges and work her way up the leaderboard.
It comes after Stacey and Kevin revealed they feared they were going to be eliminated first last week.

Speaking on The One Show yesterday, Kevin said: “Just before that happened she went, ‘One million per cent it’s us.’
“She started saying these emotional goodbyes to me. She went, ‘Well, at least we’ve had a nice time’ and ‘at least we’ve had a good run. ‘I must say, I have enjoyed it.’
“I was like, ‘This is not over for me, Stacey!’”
Also on the show, Kevin took a cheeky swipe at Stacey’s rhythm.
Stacey joked: “I’m going to write Kev a poem.”
The professional dancer then replied: “Maybe it will help with your rhythm.”
While The One Show hosts Angela Griffin and Matt Baker began to laugh, Stacey started to freestyle a poem for Kevin.
“Kev, this is to you: Please don’t make me dance anymore, I will want to fall to the floor,” she remarked.
While it no longer looks like Stacey is favourite to be this year’s winner, it appears Seann Walsh is favourite to be booted off next.
Bookies have revealed he is the front-runner to follow in Susannah Constantine’s steps.
Coral’s odds of Seann being voted off next have been slashed to 5/4.
John Hill, a spokesperson for the bookies, said: “The pressure could be on Seann to survive this weekend as the betting suggesting he isn't going to be as lucky to survive a dance off this time around.”
Last week, Seann failed to impress the judges with his routine as they pointed out he was not in time with the music.
Will he show improvement this week or is it his time to leave?
Strictly Come Dancing airs tonight on BBC One at 6.35pm.
