LOOSE WOMEN discussed one of the contestants on the upcoming series of The Apprentice, Daniel Elahi, and Janet Street-Porter voiced her support for The Apprentice hopeful after his secret drug dealing past was revealed.

Loose Women this afternoon briefly discussed The Apprentice hopeful Daniel Elahi, 28, after his secret past as a drug dealer came to light.
The Sun reported on October 1st that Daniel was caught with £5,000 worth of cannabis back in 2010 which he was intending to sell to students.
However, Janet Street-Porter took the time on the show this morning to voice her support for the young entrepreneur.
“It’s a spent conviction,” she pointed out.
“He’s done his punishment,” she added.
Janet continued: “I think we should be allowed to let people do that.”
“He must have had a considerable amount of talent to be considered for the show,” she finished.
Janet went on to highlight how people in her opinion do deserve a second chance and an opportunity to be rehabilitated and allowed back into society.
“Once somebody’s been convicted, you can’t go around sticking a red dot on someone’s head,” said the Loose Women panellist.
“What’s the point of prison if you can’t be rehabilitated?” added fellow panellist, Saira Khan.
He’s done his punishment.
She added: “Ten per cent of his workforce are ex-offenders.”
She continued: “He’s really interested in giving people a second chance.”
The 28-year-old Apprentice contestant has worked for investment bank Credit Suisse.
However, he now describes himself as a Lifestyle Brand Owner.
He’s also likened himself to the main character in Martin Scorsese’s film, The Wolf of Wall Street: Jordan Belfort, who was famously played by Leonardo DiCaprio.

He explained: “We needed a doctor’s letter,” before thanking the audience for attending his interview.
Chico then thanked the hosts and exclaimed: “I’m just so happy to be alive!”
Giving extreme detail about his harrowing stroke Chico told of how he collapsed in a pub’s car park and was seeing visions of his children.
