Celebrity MasterChef 2018: Did Chizzy Akudolu just reveal this year’s winner early?
CELEBRITY MASTERCHEF 2018 returns to television screens this evening and will see Chizzy Akudolu try to impress Gregg Wallace and John Torode with her cooking skills.
Loose Women: Chizzy jokes about winning Celebrity MasterChef
Chizzy is just one of 20 celebrities taking part in this year’s Celebrity MasterChef and she opened up about her experience on Loose Women today.
The Holby City star told the hosts that judges Gregg Wallace and John Torode are “very hands on”.
Loose Women panellist Nadia Sawalha joked: “No pressure, I won it.”
Chizzy may then have let slip who wins the series as she hit back: “Maybe so did I.”
Nadia looked worryingly at the camera as she replied: “Maybe you did.”
It came after Chizzy opened up about her skills on the BBC show.
Speaking about whether she was good in the kitchen, she said: “Well, I like to eat, so you know I can make food.
“I wouldn’t say I’m a great cook, I usually just put stuff on a tray in the oven.”
Meanwhile, fellow panellist Linda Robson, who has also appeared on the BBC show, then joked about her progress on the show.
She was eliminated in the first round of the competition so Chizzy will no doubt be hoping she reaches the next heat.

Chizzy’s comments come after Keith Allen, who is also competing, talked about the show on Lorraine.
The actor revealed what was hidden in the box for the first round as he chatted to host Christine Lampard.
He explained: “At the very beginning you’re on your own.
“You open the box, and there’s a load of stuff: pork, blue cheese, pastry.”
The 64-year-old continued: “Everybody does it, and it’s an hour. And everybody gets an onion and a bit of garlic. And everybody did it.”
Celebrity MasterChef's latest series teased in new trailer
Keith went on to reveal the element of the competition that he struggled with the most.
He noted that he struggled to present his food and was worried about messing up.
“What you do, the people see. If you mess it up, the whole country sees it,” he said.
“There’s nowhere to hide. It’s absolutely terrifying.”
Celebrity MasterChef airs tonight on BBC One at 8pm.
