Baby left behind as Amanda comes to Scotland for BGT auditions
BRITAIN’S Got Talent judge Amanda Holden will be parted from her newborn baby daughter for two days as she is returning to work on the show today.
The TV star – who gave birth to Hollie 19 days ago – will arrive in Scotland for auditions in Edinburgh.
However, because of the cold weather, she will leave her baby in the care of her mother while she rejoins the panel, including Simon Cowell, 51, David Walliams, 40, and Alesha Dixon, 33.

Amanda, 40, said last night: “I am euphoric to be heading back to my place at the judges’ desk. To be honest, after the last couple of weeks, I’m euphoric to be anywhere. This is just a very fleeting visit to Scotland and with the weather being so extreme I’ve decided to let my mum have some quality time with her new granddaughter. But I am looking forward to introducing Hollie to everyone on my next trip.”

Amanda was rushed to hospital during filming of auditions in Birmingham.
She went into premature labour and was critically ill while giving birth to Hollie. However, she has made a remarkable recovery and after resting for two weeks has told bosses that she is well enough to resume her duties on the panel.
Earlier this week her vacant judges’ seat was taken by former Baywatch star Carmen Electra, 39, for three days of auditions in London.
However, fans kept chanting: “We want Amanda.”
The new series of Britain’s Got Talent will air on ITV in the spring.
