Hart wants three more
UNDER pressure Portsmouth manager Paul Hart hopes to make at least three more signings before the transfer window closes.
Top of Hart’s wanted list is Israel defender Tal Ben-Haim, who is surplus to requirements at Manchester City after Joleon Lescott’s £24million arrival.
Hart needs an experienced centre-back to fill the gap left by Sylvain Distin’s move to Everton, and hopes he can get Ben-Haim, 27, to switch to Fratton Park.
Watford’s Michael Williamson and Dutch midfielder Bolo Zenden are also in Hart’s sights.
Hart looks to have lost his battle to hold on to Croatia midfielder Niko Kranjcar, who is set to join Spurs today, but is determined to keep goalkeeper David James at least until January’s window.
