A BUNGLING car bomber has blown himself up in a failed terror attack in Libya.

The terrorist was the only victim of the attack, which took place just outside the huge oil port of Es Sider in the north of the country.
Witnesses reported seeing body parts belonging to the bomber lying on the ground outside the blue vehicle, whose doors were blown open.
A photo taken at the scene appears to show the remains of the attacker being carried from the scene by four men in white bio-suits. They are carrying what appears to be a black body bag.
Security officials did not say who they thought was behind the attempted terror attack, which took place a few kilometres from the oil port and failed to cause even material damage.
Rocket casings were also spotted at the seen, with an anonymous security source claiming they had been found inside the vehicle.
Es Sider, which lies 200 miles fromf Benghazi, opened last year after forces loyal to eastern-based commander Khalifa Haftar took control of the terminal and three other ports.
The failed attack occurred in Es Sider in northern Libya
It is the biggest oil depot in Libya and due to its importance is frequently a site of intense fighting during the country's civil wars.
It was attacked early last year by Islamic State militants before they were ousted from Sirte, and has since been the scene of clashes between Haftar's LNA and opponents who had previously been battling him in Benghazi.
