DRAMATIC video footage has emerged of the moment a teenager fainted onto a train track but was pulled to safety by a stranger with just seconds to spare.

Anija Lender,18, was waiting for the metro at South Street Station in Boston, US, when she began to feel hot and unwell.
And within moments of taking a sip of water, the young woman is then seen tumbling just inches from the electrified rail as a train is just one minute away from pulling in.
Good samaritans quickly sprung into action and risked their own lives to save the young woman.

At first Anija felt unwell and told the strangers not to move her.
But when they told her the train was only 60 seconds away, the young woman grew panicked.
She told CBS Boston: “Then they said the train is coming and I said 'move me, move me'.
"I don't know, I guess I fainted."

The strangers managed to move Anija’s lifeless body onto the platform just in time.
The young woman says the last thing she remembers is taking a sip of water from her friend’s bottle.

She escaped the incident with a sprained ankle and six stitches over one eye.
Anija added: “I believe in God, I feel like God really had my back. He was right there with me.
“I’m so glad people came and helped me. I know if it was me, I would have been scared to jump on the tracks knowing the train was so close.”
